Rise Up Video
Rise Up Description
It is really hard to describe the feelings when you find a game like Rise Up. The simple reason why I say that when every other game on the Playstore is either a battle royale game or an RPG game, it is a breath of fresh air. The concept of the game is really unique and it is hard to believe that the creators of this game was able to come up with it.
The idea is simple. You need to make way for a balloon by clearing all the obstacles that come in the way of it. The obstacles do not resemble anything from the real world. They will be like flying V shaped bars, balls dropping from slopes placed after one another, and much more. The interesting fact is that the levels are randomly generated and hence the obstacles are not pre-determined for any particular level. As you play the game it will also be evident that the difficulty of a particular level doesn’t remains the same. What I mean by it is suppose you are playing level 3 and you lose it. Now if you replay the game, level 3 will neither the obstacles nor the difficulty of the level will be the same. This in my opinion makes the game even more interesting because you never know what obstacles await as you replay the game.
If you are interested in knowing that if it is an endless game then I the answer is no. Unfortunately, there are only 45 levels in the game currently. However, the developers have promised that they will add new levels.
To play the game you need to have a very good hand eye coordination otherwise it will be even difficult to get past level 5. Also, constant retrying doesn’t makes it any easier since the levels are dynamically generated. The developers of the game have purposely increased the difficulty of the game to make you hook for longer hours. If you know a bit about human psychology then you would realize that losing in a game also hurts your ego. It is a kind of rejection and our brain treats it as if it is a physical pain. Males are more prone to it and hence we could say that this game is targeting male audience. I don’t know the exact reason behind this psyche but I think it is something related to our evolution.
There are many simple games in Playstore but none of them matches the simplicity of Rise Up. While it is also worth mentioning that the idea maybe very simple but the levels of the game are not. You need fast fingers to play it.
Ads in this game is not troublesome and you will be able to play the game without any issues. I some reviews on Playstore and many were saying that there were too many ads but it is blatantly wrong in my opinion. I have seen many games that have way more ads than this. We also need to take into consideration the fact that this game is not developed by any mega corporation. It is a small team and they also need to take care of their family. We need to have a bit of empathy for these small developer teams.
Overall the game is great if you are looking for something simple to play. It will also not waste your time like some other games. On the contrary these types of games at least help you with your reaction times and enhance logical thinking. You can also play this type of game while you are waiting in a line somewhere or getting bored at an office meeting. One last note for the developers is that if you can please improve the graphics of the game since it feels like it is from 3-4 years back. The sound effects are nice and really enhances your experience.
